Direct-To-Garment Printing

What is Direct-TO-Garment (DTG) Printing?
DTG printing works similar to your inkjet desktop printer. The unique patented garment ink is deposited directly onto the shirt, with no burning of screens, setup, or registration involved.
The Advantages
The advantages of DTG printing over screen printing are ease of setup, and reduced limitations.
Traditionally, screen printing requires one screen to be burned for each color to be printed. This increases the cost for multiple color jobs, and limits the range of colors available. DTG printing allows for unlimited colors to be printed with no added cost. Photographs, drawings, complex images can all be printed with unrivaled clarity and vividness.
Screen printing yields only 72 dpi at its highest, while DTG printing has a resolution of 600 x 600 dpi, allowing for near-photographic clarity, with NO halftone dots. The image clarity is practically unrivaled in today's market.
Our new, in-house state-of-the-art digital printer means you can enjoy crisp, vibrant, colorful images on your choice apparel. This is ideal for individuals or families celebrating birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, reunions, holiday functions, and any other type of special event. It is also ideal for small companies printing for resale purposes such as ASI's, photographers, fishing charters, event planners, and so on. The opportunities are limitless.
Benefits
(DTG Printing vs. Screen Printing)
No setup charges (DTG requires no screens).
No minimum orders (Screen printing often requires a minimum order because of the time and cost involved to set up the job.)
- You can have one or ten shirts printed, or have ten shirts printed each with a different image. (Ideal for family events, small businesses, or anything you need personalized.)
Environmentally friendly since it uses water based inks which are then applied directly to the shirt. (Whereby in screen printing, there are residual plastisol inks left on used screens which will eventually need to be cleaned utilizing mineral spirits often times resulting with the entire brew being washed into the drain.) |
